RX#3 - 5665MHz analogue
RX#4 - 10.315GHz analogue
GB3CT - located at Caistor Top (IO93UM), one of the highest locations in Lincolnshire, the Lincolnshire Wolds.
The repeater is currently under construction and will hopefully enter operation during summer 2020. Although currently licensed with a single RF input on 2435MHz (analogue and digital) GB3CT is being built as a multiple user repeater which will eventually support RF inputs on: 437MHz digital 2.435Ghz (FM analogue and digital) 5.665 GHz (FM analogue) 10.315 GHz (FM analogue).
In addition the the above, GB3CT will also have 2 fully automatic Skype inputs, GB3CT-1 & GB3CT-2 and eventually, a link to our sister repeater GB3GG located at Grimsby.
The repeater logic operates as follows:
Any one input active, the repeater will transmit the input full screen.
Any two or more of the four RF inputs active (1 - 4), the repeater will enter as quad screen and display 4 pictures simultaneously.
Should any of the inputs above #4 become active together with any other input, then the logic will switch to a 9 screen.
Active audio channels are mixed together, so it is important to use headphones to monitor GB3CT's output to prevent audio feedback problems.
To access the repeater via the Skype inputs, then you will need to pre-authorise your Skype account with GB3CT and you will be added to the repeater's contact list. As your Skype video will be transmitted on GB3CT's RF output, you MUST hold a current Amateur radio licence. As such, you will be required to Email a copy of your licence documentation to: gb3ct.repeater@gmail.com for approval. We will then Email you details of the next step. Once completed, you will be able to access GB3CT via Skype any time, any place, anywhere from your PC, tablet or mobile telephone.
Please note that the latency on the video stream is quite high, so when you connect, it may take about 30 seconds for your video to appear on the BATC stream. Please keep this is mind when using the stream to test your access to GB3CT. If you wish to test access to the repater and monitor your picture, you may connect to either Skype inputs to do so with minimal latency.
