GRIFT: Geometry and Representation Theory in QFT

Welcome to the GRIFT homepage. 

We are a group of mathematical physicists, geometers, and algebraists at University of Edinburgh and Heriot-Watt University interested in the interactions between geometry and representation theory and QFT.

Since the beginning in autumn 2022, we are holding a weekly group meeting/discussion. In autum 2023 these are taking place on Tuesdays 12-2pm. Further information appears on the Group Meetings page.

In spring 2022, we hosted several monthly GRIFT seminars. Beginning in autumn 2022, GRIFT-themed seminars are incorporated into the usual Hodge and EMPG seminar schedules, and listed on our Seminars page.
