Burgers and Fries

The 1/2 pound burgers are made to order and fried in Grandma Essie's iron skillet, thus the name "Iron Skillet Burger". Nothing like 80 years of use to season up a skillet. Dress it with toppings of your choice and served on a Hawaiian bun. Try it with our hand-cut fries. Our smashburger is a different approach to the traditional hamburger - pressed thin and cooked fast in a screaming hot skillet to produce a great crust. We serve the smashburger as a single or double with cheese and grilled onions. Of course you can have whatever you want on it, but perfection is hard to improve on. Thursdays are our Burger Special Day. We choose a burger and side to highlight at a very reasonable price. Admittedly, sometimes it is way out there. On Burger Thursdays we have served the Meatloaf Burger, the Philly Burger, the Taco Burger, the Breakfast Burger, the Steakhouse Burger, and just our plain ol' everyday Iron Skillet Burger and Smash Burger at very low prices. Our pizza uses our homemade, hand stretched dough (that's our excuse why they are not always perfectly round). Our zesty sauce is made in house as well and is a great accompaniment for our fry bread sticks.

Things with Wings

Fritters and wings can be served with homemade ranch, Pub sauce, Buffalo wing sauce, or BBQ sauce, tossed and / or dipped, or served plain with just salt and pepper. Pub sauce is our version of Mississippi Comeback Sauce or Louisiana Remoulade Sauce. Made fresh in-house, it's spicy sweetness goes great on chicken and appetizers Our chicken menu changes often depending on availability.

Taco Tuesday

Our standard taco is taco meat, shredded cheddar cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream and homemade taco sauce, served on either corn or flour tortillas (fried crisp or lightly to order), jalapenos optional. You can also try taco salad in a tortilla bowl. From noon until we run out, every Tuesday. No carry outs.
