Grid Integration & Distribution Laboratory
About Us
The Grid Integration and Distribution Laboratory (GrID LAB) focuses on advancing the integration of renewable energy resources, distributed energy resources (DERs), and innovative technologies into the power grid. Our mission is to enhance grid reliability, resilience, and efficiency through cutting-edge research in areas such as demand response, microgrid operations, advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), and smart grid technologies. By leveraging state-of-the-art simulation, modeling, and experimental validation, we develop solutions to challenges like voltage regulation, load balancing, and system protection. Our work contributes to a sustainable energy future by driving seamless grid modernization and fostering collaboration among academia, industry, and government.
