Higher Linear Algebra

These are my notes closely following lecture notes by Professor David Penneys for his Higher Linear Algebra course, which I am doing as a directed reading course over the summer of 2024. Given the amount of diagrams involved, I've been putting significant time into improving my TikZ abilities as well, which I am told will pay off. I'm making a cheatsheet for basic TikZ syntax; it is a (very) work in progress, but you can find it here. 

Lecture Notes Taken As a PhD Student

Beginning in the fall of 2023, I have taken lecture notes using the method found on GitHub here, which adapts Gilles Castel's workflow for use in Visual Studio Code on a MacBook Pro with the M1 Apple silicon chip. As of January 2024, I have customized this workflow to a large degree to meet my needs, including custom macros, text expansion snippets, keyboard shortcuts, and so on.

As of February 2024, I am also assembling a collection of standard conventions to adhere to when writing mathematics that may be helpful to others. 

Lecture Notes as an Undergraduate Student

Many of these notes remain largely unedited since typing them during lecture. My new workflow significantly reduces the need for changes after lecture, so these notes are of lesser quality than my newer notes.
