Abstract Guidelines for Study

1. Introduction to field. Start with some broad background information of the chosen field
2. Topic/goal of study. A topic should be specific (specific treatment...etc). What is the goal of this report (synthesize information, drawing new interpretations, tracing the history of the idea...etc.)?
3. Rationale. How is the chosen topic relevant to humans?
4. Findings. Provide a brief summary of findings from the report as well as new arguments and conclusions that have been drawn.

Abstract Guidelines for Experiment/Innovation:

1. Introduction to field. Start with some broad background information of the chosen field
2. Objective of the experiment/design and Hypothesis
3. Procedure. What were the steps undertaken in the experiment? What were be the steps undertaken to achieve the innovative design? If design or experiment is theoretical, what would the steps be?
4. Findings. Provide a brief summary of findings from the experiment as well as arguments and conclusions that have been drawn.

All abstracts should be approximately 200-300 words.

Abstracts and Application Forms are due March 12th, 2018 at 11:59pm.

FORMAT:

• You have a wall space of 3' x 5' and a table in front.
• Use a font that is understandable from a few feet away
• Include a Heading- and Subheadings if desired- on each page, ex: Objectives, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusions, References, Acknowledgements (if any)
