HOW TO REACH THE CONFERENCE VENUE

The conference takes place at:

Department of Political Sciences, University of Naples Federico II, Naples Italy

Largo San Marcellino, Napoli

Arrival by flight:

If you are arriving by flight to the Naples International Airport (Capodichino, NAP), you should take a bus (ANM Alibus: http://www.anm.it/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1314), connecting Naples Airport to “Piazza Garibaldi – Main Train Station” (first stop). Its frequency is 25 minutes more or less from 6:00 a.m. to 11:40 p.m.

Once you are at the Train Station, you should follow indications to reach the Metro “Linea 1 – Garibaldi Station” of the Underground (there is a tunnel that connects the Napoli Central Station to the Metro station). Take direction “Piscinola” and get off at “Università" stop. Coming out of the Metro station, head northeast on "Corso Umberto I". After passing by the central building of the Univerisity (about 200 mt from the metro station) turn left and enter Via Antonio Tari and, at the end, turn right onto Via L. Rodinò 22: you will be arrived at the Department of Political Sciences. Then you will find indications to the elevator that will get you at San Marcellino cloister, venue of the Conference.

Arrival by train

You will arrive by train to the Naples Central Train Station (Piazza Garibaldi). You can follow the indications inside the train station to reach the “Linea 1 – Garibaldi Station” (there is an underground tunnel that connects the Napoli Central Station to the Metro station). Take direction “Piscinola”, and get off at “Università Station”. Coming out of the Metro station, head northeast on "Corso Umberto I". After passing by the central building of the Univerisity (about 200 mt from the metro station) turn left and enter Via A. Tari and at the end turn right and you will be arrived at the Department of Political Sciences (Via L. Rodinò, 22). Then you will find indications to the elevator that will get you at San Marcellino cloister, venue of the Conference.

Please notice that if you want to walk from Piazza Garibaldi to the University, then it will take you about 20 minutes: in that case, you need to reach the crossroad with Corso Umberto I, and then go straight until you find Via A. Tari on your right and finally Via L. Rodinò on your right again.

Instead, if you wish to take a taxi directly from the Airport to the University, you should know that there are certain trips from the Airport to predetermined destinations that benefit of the fixed fare option ("tariffa predeterminata") to be asked before the ride starts. These are particularly advantageuous in case of taxi jams.
