Mathematics Project at Minnesota (MPM): In 2019 and 2018, I was a mentor for this week long program for undergraduate math majors that focuses on an introduction to a variety of mathematical topics with an emphasis on diversity and inclusion within the community. If you're interested being a part of MPM, feel free to contact me personally or the UMN Association for Women in Mathematics.

The Student Topology and Geometry Seminar (STAGS): In the past, I organized this graduate seminar with Michelle Pinharry. The seminar is now run by current graduate students.

American Mathematical Society: I served as President and Vice President of our local AMS Student chapter for three years. We organize seminars, special events, and a weekly social tea.

Graduate Program: Official details about the graduate math department at the University of Minnesota can be found here.

Math Positivity:

Math is hard. Math anxiety, sometimes called "math-phobia," is a very real phenomenon. No matter who you are, I want to encourage you to embrace math positivity. Acknowledge when you are confused and ask questions if you can. Respect your own diverse learning processes and those of your peers. Revel in your successes and don't fret about what you don't know. Never let anyone every tell you that you are "bad at math," not even yourself. As a graduate student, I've been doing everything in my power to make the math world a safe space for everyone. You belong here.
