About Me

I am a philosopher of science, trained in philosophy and molecular biology.

Currently, I work as a University Assistant/Postdoc at the Department of Philosophy at the University of Vienna, contributing to Tarja Knuuttila's ERC project "Possible Life: The Philosophical Significance of Extending Biology".

From October 2018 to end of August 2020, I was a Postdoc in Thomas Pradeu's ERC IDEM project at ImmunoConcept, in the Conceptual Biology & Medicine Group, hosted by the CNRS and the University of Bordeaux.

I obtained a PhD in philosophy (supervisors: Charlotte Werndl & Simon Huttegger), after my Mag.phil. (supervisor: Alexander Hieke), and a MSc in molecular biology (supervisor: Michael Breitenbach), all from the University of Salzburg, and spent the academic year 2016/17 as a visiting scholar at the Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science at the University of California, Irvine.
