Greg Haynes is a visual artist working from Ooltewah, Tennessee.

Greg's professional background has been in graphic design and illustration. He has been making pictures since he could hold a crayon. As a child, Greg was taken in by the amazing illustrations within childrens picture books. As a young adult, he loved to study the record album covers and posters of the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. Since college (1980-1984), he has been influenced by many art styles and movements, including the illustration and design work of Milton Glaser, Michael Schwab, Barry Moser, Maxfield Parrish, Bernie Fuchs, and painters from the American Impressionist movement, to name just a few.

Living near the Appalachian Mountains and surrounded by beautiful Tennessee scenery, he draws inspiration from the natural environment as well as his own garden. He uses a variety of materials to create landscape and botanical art.
