Career Goal Narrative
The career that I have chosen to do is engineering. This is because all my life I have much rather chosen to do anything math and science rather than english and history. So I have used google and other resources to search many jobs or occupations that have both science and math and three things popped up and that is two types of engineering and meteorologist. Then when I grew up to 10 years old I thought that my grandfather had died of a heart attack. But truly that was not my biological grandfather. My biological grandfather on my moms side is also an engineer which caused me to think about it when I was ten. Which started to focus on my path for engineering. My grandfather owns his own robotic engineering company that focuses on building a robot that can do tasks for you. Which his company is, automated process inc.
The classes that I have taken that help me achieve my career choice in this class ( engineering in tech center) With ap pre calculus and planning to take physics next year. The things that I have learned that help me progress into my career is geometry class with knowing how to create a shape for a certain standard that I have to follow. Which has both created a stable learning environment that will help me in my engineering class this year.
The extra curricular activities that I have taken part in are after school travel and jv soccer with golf and wrestling. Which has taught me that u always have to try your hardest and not just myself but for people around me that push me to be better. For example golf I have to shoot a good score so my team can possibly shoot better and win like last week. Yes I do have a job and that is bingo. It is a family owned business that has taught me to always do something so other people don't have to stay after to do something that I should have done or just to have them think nice of me. Also I have learned that creating relationships with the customers is a way to create a great workplace environment and to have more sales.
After high school I am still looking into my options of what to do. I know I will be going to college. The thing that I still am looking into is the apprenticeship or military because it is a way to boost my education, the amount I'm getting paid, and the opportunities for my college getting paid for or getting a scholarship.
After achieving my career goals I hope I am able to impact my society in a greater good because I want to be known as somebody that everyone knows and is a great help to them and their family around them. I hope to impact my society by bringing more machines that are beneficial to them and their friends. Most likely will not have a big impact because I am just looking for a local job that keeps me in one place and allows me to enjoy all the things that made my society better. I hope I have a positive impact on the world but most likely would be the community that I keep myself in.
