Home-grown, on the farmily farm farm near Valleyview, JM (John-Michael) completed his DVM program at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in 2010. It was during his final year of vet school that his daughter, Isabella, was also born. He practiced in the Saskatchewan communities of Lumsden and Turtleford for several years where he jokingly says he made all his mistakes before moving home to Valleyview in 2016. He and Lindsey took ownership of the clinic in 2017 and it's been an adventure ever since. His passion for helping animals live healthier, more productive lives was born on his parents' farm where he still gets to help out occasionally and share experiences with his staff and students like branding and piglet processing. JM loves the variety of rural mixed animal practice and the occasional chance to do more rare procedures when referral isn't an option. He enjoys volunteering with Lindsey at CAP spay and neuter clinics and also as the local Catholic School Trustee and other activities with the church and school. You will occasionally find him cycling to work or around town, getting in the occasional lane swim or yoga class to deal with all his tension and is even a veteran of the GRM Indoor Triathlon. He enjoys mentorship and has had a student every year of his career and is even hoping to start hosting Calgary Vet students on the rotations in the near future.
Dr Amir started his veterinary schooling in Iran at the Tabriz university, later transferring to Tokyo University in Japan, from which he graduated in 2009. He then began working in the Research Department at the Tokyo University.

He first obtained his Masters of Business Administration from Brock University (completing in 2014), then pursued his Masters of Medical Biotechnology from the University of Windsor (completing that in 2017). He then spent a couple years working as an on the job trained tech in Ontario before moving to Moosejaw, SK and began working as a limited license veterinarian. Dr Amir joined the team at Greenview Veterinary Clinic in 2022 and knows how to keep a smile on everyone's face.

Lindsey grew up in Spiritwood, Saskatchewan and moved to Lloydminster after high school. She became a journeyman hairstylist at Marvel Hair School in Saskatoon in 2009 all while being a single mom for her son, Brayden. While working in Lloydminster, she met JM during his time in Turtleford and had him smitten in no time with her courage, charm, and beauty. She was the main inspiration and driving force for them to move their family to Valleyview right after they were married in 2016. When they took over the clinic in 2017, Lindsey immediately dove into taking on many management and receptionist duties. In 2019 she completed the Veterinary Assistant course through Animal Behavior College to help her understand and work in both the 'front' and 'back' ends of the clinic. Lindsey does a lot behind the scenes to keep the clinic running smoothly, making sure the staff and bills are paid on time, recruitment, HR (think amazing staff handbooks and duties lists!), transporting supplies and cremations, arranging birthday and other team celebrations, keeping their snack drawer full, along with a whole host of other management duties! Her beautiful smile, and calm wisdom have kept - and got - JM out of a lot of trouble over the years and we are so grateful to have her.
Lindsey still enjoys and excels at doing hair. She has also become a master hand-knitter and you can find her very popular pet beds for sale in the front of the clinic. She enjoys taking care of their menagerie of animals and also spending time in Saskatchewan with her niece's and nephew who she adores and who adore her right back! In her spare time Lindsey volunteers on the board and many activities of Canine Action Project and also does outreach for the homeless as part of the Lloydminster Hope Street Team.
Michelle is a local girl who completed her Animal Health Technologist program at Fairview College when it was still part of NAIT in 2010- the same year that Dr Pozniak graduated. They even worked together as summer students in Valleyview in 2009! As the most experienced member of the staff at the Greenview Vet Clinic, Michelle plays lead in many of the critical and technical aspects of managing a clinic such as, practice inspections accreditations, controlled drug logs, and x-ray safety. Michelles experience also lends itself to providing excellent care and handling of all our patients, large and small! Outside of work, Michelle has recently renewed her passion for barrel racing with her two daughters reaching the age where they can share in their moms passion. She also has a small purebred Boer goat herd and breeds registered Golden Retrievers as part of her funny farm in the Sunset House area. We are proud to have Michelle as part of our team!
Aleisha hails from Fort St. John where her career in Vet Med started in high school working at one of the local veterinary clinics. She completed the Animal Health Technologist program at Fairview College in 2018 and moved to Valleyview in 2022. She is highly skilled and confident working with all species. In the fall of 2023 she completed the bovine ultrasound pregnancy testing course and is now able to perform herd preg-checks helping to ease the load on Dr. Pozniak in doing over 10,000 of these every year. She is also our clinics laser safety officer and is the most comfortable of all our team in using our class IV medical laser to perform photobiomodulation therapy, often working with technical support veterinarians to design protocols for some of our more complex medical and surgical cases. Outside of work she enjoys training her new blue heeler, "Shade," riding her horses, working with her partner on the ranch, and hunting to keep the freezer full. We are very appreciative of everything Aleisha brings to our clinic and proud to have her as part of our team!
Elizabeth grew up in Falher and completed her Animal Health Technologist program at Fairview College in 2023. As the newest member of our technician team, the speed that her knowledge, skills, and confidence have increased is a testament to her ambition and excitement about veterinary medicine. She is already a pro at prepping and monitoring anesthesia, using the laser, taking radiographs of everything from horse hooves to full body ‘catograms’ and even those tricky, back-of-the-mouth dental x-rays. She can even make bovine semen slides to JM’s picky standards! She also makes an excellent ‘director of first impressions’ subbing in as a receptionist when either Tammy or her twin sister, Emma need some time off. We are grateful for Elizabeth and her hard work! We truly do have the best team!
Tammy grew up in rural Saskatchewan and only came to the Peace Country after High School when she enrolled in Equine Science at the Fairview College.
Lucky for us she stuck around.
Tammy has been one of our longest serving employees, joining us shortly after taking over the practice way back in 2018. Tammy is dedicated and loyal, humble and unassuming, she does not realize how much she knows about managing a vet clinic and how irreplaceable she is to our team. She has absorbed a lifetime's worth of knowledge through numerous seminars, lunch & learns, and on-the-job training sessions. In serving as our 'director of first impressions,' all of our clients have come to know her name and that they can trust her to find a way to get them what they need.
On top of making sure the clinic runs smoothly every day, Tammy shows her horses in the Alberta Pinto Horse Association, the Alberta Paint Horse Association and our local Agriculture Association where she has won the Costume Class several years in a row, making her one of a kind costumes herself.
Tammy is also certified with Equi-Health Canada in Equine first Aid and teaches the course a few times a year.
Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication Tammy, we appreciate you!
Emma is one of the newest additions to our team, joining us just over a year ago when her vet-tech twin sister convinced her to come on board! Confident and out-going, Emma has jumped whole-heartedly into the role, helping Tammy as a 'director of first impressions.' Her sharp, young mind has already learned a great deal about how to compassionately and efficiently, receive all manner of patients and clients in person and on the phone. She's also speedy and effective at receiving in-coming and out-going supply orders. A local girl with a background in customer service, she's great at getting clients what they need even if she doesn't always understand all the words they're using.
Thank you so much Emma for helping everything run smoothly every day!
