Welcome to the Green Trade Lab!
We are a small academic network of early career researchers interested in the intersection of the environment and international trade. Our goal is to provide an interactive forum to exchange knowledge, to develop new ideas, and to cooperate on joint research interests.
How to make international trade more environmentally sustainable? How to reconcile trade interests with environmental protection? What do planetary boundaries mean for global value chains? Why do some trade institutions pay more attention to ecological conservation than others?
If you are interested in these or related questions with implications on the environment or on trade, you fit perfectly to our network. In case you want to join or have any other question, please don't hesitate to reach out to us via greentradelab@gmail.com. We would be very happy to welcome you in one of our next sessions!
We share new publications, Call for Papers, upcoming webinars, workshops and conferences via our newsletter
We organize monthly webinars with experts to discuss current trends and new insights related to the environment-trade nexus
We meet once a year for our annual workshop to present our own research, gather feedback and develop new ideas
