Green Global Label certification is a voluntary scheme that covers the complete supply chain from production, processing, transport to final use for bioenergy and biobased applications. GGL is amongst the earliest biomass certification schemes.
The GGL standards also cover energy and carbon data that must be provided throughout the supply chain. Transaction certificates are issued for transactions between GGL certified companies in the supply chain.
