It all started with a casual workshop gathering of mushroom growers community and debating over the reality of urban farming or green ambitions, the team of highly experienced engineers, entrepreneurs, and high flying executives decided that something can be done starting with common vision back in Aug 2021 in Singapore.

This vision was to enable the urban farming community to engage with real small farmers on-ground in collaboration with academia for scientific approaches towards sustainable climate positive agriculture in a green sandbox environment that allow trials, failures, and data analytics without burning out.

Agtech is a new scary buzzword online but the reality is this - one must combine multi-disciplinary knowledge, roll-up sleeves, get hands dirty, to make Agtech work alongside real farmers.

These include:

• simple electronics aka internet-of-things (IOT) starter kits (eg. arduino for gardens)

• mesh network gateways and server as essential IT hardware/network setup

• open-source data analytics app installation and rendering of data

• data collection testing and validation

• publishing of papers from observation of data analysis

• real farming documentation and iteration feedback work

• documentation comparison for cost-effective sustainable farming
