Litter Study & Cleanups

• April Litter Study: Wanna help keep Charlotte beautiful? Volunteers are needed to check out litter on different roads (April 4-19).

• Earth Day Eve Cleanup: Let's get ready for Earth Day! Join a cleanup on Tuckaseegee Road (April 21).

• Clean the Queen Week: It's cleanup time! Participate in citywide events all week (April 21-26), including litter pickups.

• Clean the Queen Celebration: Party time! Wrap up the cleanup week at Innovation Barn on April 26 with free stuff, pop-up tattoos, BBQ, music, and local brews.

Gardening & Nature

• CMS Pollinator Garden Plantings: Help plant pollinator gardens at local schools (April 13-17).

• Green Fun: Birdwatching at Lower McAlpine Greenway (April 17).

• Latta Park (Dilworth): See spring birds at Latta Park (April 22 & 26).

• Chantilly Ecological Preserve: Go birding at Chantilly (April 29)!

• Spring Landscape Stewardship Workshop: Learn how to create awesome, nature-friendly landscapes (April 26).

• TreesCharlotte TreeFest: A fun tree celebration for everyone (April 26).

• City Nature Challenge: Charlotte BioBlitz: (April 27)

Innovation Barn Events

• Innovation Barn Open: The Innovation Barn is open to the public Tuesdays-Fridays (10 AM-4 PM) and Saturdays (11 AM-4 PM).

• Public Tours: Take a tour of the Innovation Barn! Tours are on Tuesdays at 1 PM, Fridays at 9 AM, and Saturdays at 1 PM. Be sure to sign up!

• 3rd Wednesday Volunteer Event: Volunteer at the Innovation Barn on the third Wednesday of the month (April 16). We'll be weeding or making dog beds, depending on the weather.

• The Mill Grand Opening Celebration: (April 18)

• 2nd Chance Sample Sale: Get free materials like carpet and tile (April 26).

• Circular Saturdays: Learn about sustainability at the Innovation Barn (April 26).

• Second Chance Giveaway: Free unwanted samples (April 26)
