About

Dermot Quinn has so many sweet memories of “Greenhills”, his home in County Offaly, Ireland, but the fondest are of his Granny Murphy and the wonderful brown bread she would make. Since immigrating to the US, he yearned for her lovely bread. After many years of leading, Granny Murphy relented and passed this recipe and other favorite on to Dermot. Her recipes are family secrets and guaranteed to please the palate. They also rekindle memories of a simpler time.

Dermot and Cindy Quinn opened Greenhills Bakery, specializing in traditional and creative Irish baked goods, as a tribute to Granny Murphy (1912-1990).
