Church of the Immaculate Conception
The Church of the Immaculate Conception was dedicated on October 28, 1895 by the Retired Rev. P. A. Ludden, Bishop of Syracuse.
In 1901, the Balustrade was removed from the roof. This is one of the last views of the former church with the Balustrade in tact.
Cement steps replaced the old wooden ones in 1929, and the tall square tower removed and the gilt cross lowered to the roof.

Acreage at the East edge of the village was bought in 1963 from E. L. Cleveland, upon which the current Church of the Immaculate Conception is located.
On November 29th, 1964 one of Father Kelly’s first duties in his new parish was to celebrate Mass in English for the first time in the history of the church. Three years later more changes had been made in the ritual and the last of the Latin rites converted into English.
