The flooring is a stunning Limestone that's been antiquated and made to appear as if it was walked on, with uneven indentations.

The flooring is hardwood in beautiful color and classic pattern. All the ceilings throughout this home have been redesigned. They were raised and fitted with cove lighting, to give this dramatic look resembling a ballroom.

The cornices were made by an American company that specializes just in the production of old moldings. They study old designs and then make these moldings to match the period. These were made from Resin and brought here to be mounted on the walls. All panelling was hand painted and given a patina finish.

A wall of antique mirrors, with a hidden door connects easily to the kitchen behind. On the left are glass doors that open onto the covered patio and backyard. A sumptuous Dining that compliments the extraordinary living area perfectly.

The Family Room is the heart of this home. The walls are papered with handmade paper that's literally been torn from an old book purchased from France.

It's one of the largest areas of this home that has an open plan layout with Kitchen. It also boasts of a an elegant study nook with a full glass window for natural light that offers views of the garden.

Here too, the ceiling, flooring, windows and many more changes were made using special materials true to 19th century France with emphasis on beauty, comfort and practicality of use.
