Kevin's story began as a standout varsity swimmer at Ridley High School, laying the foundation for his extensive understanding of competitive swimming. This experience seamlessly transitioned into a coaching role, where he served as an summer coach starting in the 2002 season. His keen eye for talent and skill in nurturing swimmers' abilities quickly became apparent.
In 2008, Kevin took on the role of Head Girls Coach at Ridley, where he set new benchmarks for success. Under his guidance, the girls' swim and dive team soared to new heights, earning him the title of the winningest girls swim and dive coach in the school's history. Kevin's influence extends beyond Ridley. At Cabrini College, he spent two transformative years as an assistant coach. Here, he played a pivotal role in leading the team to their first-ever AMCC conference championship, while nurturing numerous all-conference swimmers. His impact was profound, seeing the team grow from 15 to over 35 swimmers.
His decade-long tenure as an assistant coach at the Ridley YMCA further highlights his coaching prowess. Kevin was instrumental in developing swimmers who achieved at district, state, and national levels, showcasing his ability to cultivate excellence at all stages of a swimmer’s journey.
Kevin's educational background in history, with a degree from West Chester University in 2007, complements his coaching. As a Social Studies Teacher at Ridley High School, he brings the same dedication and enthusiasm to the classroom as he does to the pool.
Away from the pool, Kevin's life is enriched by his family. He resides in Ridley Park with his wife, Cammy, their son Bradley, daughter Charlotte, and their beloved dog Gracie.
