Great Commission Theological Institute.
A
Distance Bible College
WELCOME NOTE
Dear Student,
You have made a wise decision of critical importance to your future by enrolling in further study. Thank you for choosing Great Commission Theological Institute as your partner and facilitator in this important event that will undoubtedly change your life irrevocably.
This initial step may presently seem insignificant to you. However, in time, you will appreciate the enormous consequences of a wise decision that will not only positively affect your own life but also that of your family and community. A gift I wish to endow you with at the start of this beautiful road to success is the words of RS Jackson, who once said, “Tenacity is a combination of endurance and ambition; it is a balance of patience, persistence, and guts.”
Tenacious is the view and high esteem I hold for the person who is willing to take this first step and then follow through with determination to reach an essential goal in advancing towards independence through knowledge.
You may experience uncertainty and even self-doubt when initially immersing yourself in the content of your study course. Please rest assured that this experience is quite normal for the uninitiated Student. You will soon find that the course material is expertly structured to guide you on a gradual and logical route, culminating in an in-depth understanding of the subject matter, by exercising discipline and concentration on the subject in practice.
It is recommended that you study this booklet from cover to cover before any attempt is made to explore the subject content. Regularly refer back to your study guide, which, when used correctly, will effectively serve the purpose it is designed for, namely, study guidance. Devise and implement a fixed routine that fits in with your circumstances and strictly follow it. The practice is arguably the most effective way of regulating your daily study program.
Please do not attempt to cover more study material in one session than is possible for you to grasp and accurately reproduce clearly. You will undoubtedly have to repeat the process, which is counterproductive and a waste of time. The capacity to work at an increased rate will improve once you become accustomed to studying regularly.
Although your study modules are designed to ensure the completion of the course, the recommended additional reading material will help you better understand the subject. Browse through the course content module will be studied in-depth later. It is vital that you briefly view the course before you start concentrating on the details.
Always follow a realistic program when studying, allowing enough time for relationship commitments and rest. Ensure that you effectively balance and manage your responsibilities wisely. Take full advantage of the useful study tips in this booklet and immediately ask if there is uncertainty on any matter.
Welcome to the Great Commission Theological Institute. I trust that you will thoroughly enjoy the experience and wish you every success on your journey!
With very best wishes,
Sincerely
(President and Chancellor).

Why Is Accreditation Important?
Accreditation is a “stamp of approval” – it indicates that an Institute provider measures up to specific standards set by a quality council. This means that, when you study with an accredited Institute provider, you can be sure that you are receiving an education that meets the standards and requirements set by the relevant quality council.
Accreditation Plays An Important Role In Education Because:
1. They are helping students to determine whether Colleges and other institute providers comply with specific standards.
2. They are assisting employers in assessing the validity of qualifications earned from Colleges and other training providers.
3. They are helping Colleges and other training providers to determine whether credits can be transferred from another Institute.
4. They helped other Colleges and training providers to implement self-assessment programs to make sure that they maintain their standards and retain their accreditation.
