Alan Petrie first started Great Northern Digital Satellite in 1992. His son, Matt, joined him in the early 2000s and has helped since. Matt now continues the family business on his own working to bring great service in the areas of satellite installation, with a focus on DIRECTV and Dish Network, as well as tv mounting and security system installation.
