Everything we do at Great IT Courses, including mathematics, is driven and regulated by Our Mission.
Mathematics can be used in any world which can be a part of the human mind, anything imaginable. As an example, it can be and was used in the world of gambling. The gambling business did not know how to think about its loss and profit because there was no science developed for it yet. A very prominent branch of mathematics (probability) was developed a few centuries back to be used in gambling.
We will limit the scope of this discussion to mainly three areas where we intend to do some work:
Mathematics has to be used wherever you are working in any branches of science like physics or chemistry.
Mathematics has to be used whenever you are working in any branches of engineering, like electronics, mechanical engineering, etc.
Mathematics has also to be used whenever you are doing mathematics itself, i.e., when you are a mathematician.
Historically speaking, there has never existed no one right system that taught basic calculus properly. There has always been many problems in this area.
We will address this problem by creating a complete course series that starts from the very basics of mathematics (the four basic operations) and goes all the way up to a complete calculus course, having calculus as a priority in mind, every step of the way.
To have an overview of this course series, please visit the Complete Course Series on Calculus Page.
In this whole course series, we will be absolutely committed to Our Mission.
Gahra Raschedian is the founder of Great IT Courses. From the very beginning (around 2015) he has been teaching all the courses produced on Great IT Courses. On his Youtube Channel, we have some courses that have been produced in the last ten years or so. Below, we will list these courses:
The Mathematics History playlist contains resources like book titles that describe the history of mathematics.
The Basic Mathematics playlist is based on the NCERT mathematics books of classes around 7 to 10. The playlist contains 114 videos of each around 45 minutes in average. If you are looking for basic mathematics, you will find good videos in this playlist.
We also have the following courses on basic mathematics based on NCERT classes 11 and 12:
NCERT Mathematics - Class 11 Chapter 7 - Permutation and Combination
NCERT Mathematics - Class 11 Chapter 13 - Limits and Derivatives
NCERT Mathematics - Class 11 Chapter 14 - Mathematical Reasoning
NCERT Mathematics - Class 12 Chapter 1 - Relations and Functions
NCERT Mathematics - Class 12 Chapter 2 - Inverse Trigonometric Functions
