Week 2: April 13-17

Week 2: April 13-17 Calendar

This week we will be reviewing Unit 2- Chapter 3 (Exploring 2-Variable Quantitative Data) & Unit 3- Chapter 4 (Collecting Data).

Below you will find:

List of Topics you should know and understand from these chapters.

Links to useful resources from me and other AP Stats teachers.

Your assignments are on AP Classroom and are due Thursday 4/16

We will have a Zoom meeting at 2:00 PM on Thursday.

We will discuss the AP Exam at the beginning (if you just want to listen to that then leave, you can)

Questions on Ch. 1, 2 (last week) & 3, 4 (this week)

I will do my best to have assignments graded & "returned" Friday so you can look over them.

I would keep a running list/study guide for yourself so you can look back over as we get closer to the exam date.

Unit 2- Chapter 3- Topics to Know
Unit 3- Chapter 4- Topcics to know

College Board (what runs AP) is putting on live review sessions (for all AP Classes), called AP Live. You can watch them live or go back and watch the recording after they've been "aired". I would HIGHLY recommend watching these, or at least taking a look at them. These are the ones that cover material from this week:

Mrs. Powell's lovely educational video

I had made this when we originally did Ch. 3, and couldn't get it to post. For some reason, it just now worked.

So this is my lesson on 3.2 if you need help understanding that section.

**One mistake at time 18:15 I say that the residuals are squared to make the residual plot. This is not true. The residuals are plotted with their original values: residual=actual y - predicted y
