Organizational Plan
This website features five artifacts, each representing a meaningful experience or moment that has shaped the way I think and live. Each “artifact” was chosen based on how much it helped me uncover a more profound truth about myself or the world around me rather than being a physical object or photo. I am not the type of person to take photos or to save mementos, but rather I hold onto moments by associating them with the people, places, or lessons I learned from these experiences.
The order of these artifacts isn’t random, the path mirrors the emotional and intellectual journey I’ve taken during my first year of college. We begin with the Walking artifact because it captures the starting point of my transition, not only because it was the first to happen chronologically, but also because it was the first time I tried to make sense of the new world around me. From there, we move into The Playlist, which tracks my evolving identity and emotional self-awareness. The Living Room Fort is the next artifact as it represents how I have connected more meaningfully with others and found joy in shared experiences. Math Camp builds on this with a more outward focus, tying my internal values to my professional goals. Finally, we end with The Iliad Paper, an academic yet personal exploration that brings all these themes together: growth through adversity, reflection through storytelling, and the deepening of self-awareness.
