Astrid is a member of the Royal Family of Tatra.
Astrid was named EMERGENT 3317 by EXOSPHERE, who surveilled her arrival on Earth. She originally left her home planet in pursuit of Antistrophe, who had committed various acts there that she deemed unforgivable, but there was a second errand to be done as well. She is somewhat wary of humans, although never fails in being kind of those who deserve it. She is a gifted pilot and possesses extraordinary skill with her sword, Astradea, which is virtually indestructible. She has no need to haul it around with her as it will answer to her call and come flying to her location at unimaginable speeds, even across truly vast distances. Well aware of the mounting conflicts between humans and demonkind, Astrid is determined to help restore what peace is possible between them while she pursues her own ends on the planet.
Astrid met Bolero at Héctor's bar where he introduced her to "spicy human water". Though an unlikely pair, they became great friends.
