Welcome to GratitudeJar. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.

2. Information We Collect

• Account Information: Name, email address, and password (for manual signup) or Google profile information (for Google Sign-In).

• User-Generated Content: Your written gratitudes, uploaded images, and 15-second voice recordings.

• Media & Permissions: To function correctly, we request access to your Microphone (for voice notes), Photo Gallery/Camera (for attachments), and Notifications.

3. How Your Data is Used

• To provide a personalized gratitude journal experience.

• To sync your data across devices using your account.

• To manage your 1-week free trial and subsequent subscriptions via RevenueCat.

4. Data Security & Privacy

• Private Access: Your gratitudes are private. They are stored in Firebase and are only accessible by you through your authenticated account.

• Third-Party Services: We use RevenueCat for secure payment processing and Firebase (Google) for secure data hosting. We do not sell your data to third parties.

5. Subscription & Billing

GratitudeJar offers a 7-day free trial. After the trial period, a subscription is required to add new entries. Payments are handled securely through RevenueCat and the Google Play Store. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings.

6. Account Deletion & Data Removal

We provide a Delete Account option within the app settings.

• Upon clicking "Delete Account," all your profile information and stored gratitudes (text, audio, and images) will be permanently erased from Firebase.

• This action is irreversible. If you sign up again with the same email, a completely new account will be created.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
