Ms. Southwell has been a teacher for a long time.  She has taught grades K-12 and almost all subjects.  She has four masters degrees, two from Hunter College, one from Fordham and one from Long Island university.  

Ms. Southwell loves wearing cat themed or other quirky clothing.  She enjoys listening to "mixed tapes", reading and teaching.  When she is not at school she is chilling in Harlem with her dog.  

She is excited to be a librarian and looked forward to working with you.
