Recommended Time Line to Order Instruments and Supplies:

Renting: Rent or Renew your instrument and supplies by Sept. 1st, 2026 the latest. The best time to begin or renew a rental would be between June and the end of July. The closer the school year gets, the busier Music and Arts becomes. Rental link: https://www.musicarts.com/rentals

Borrowing:  If you need to borrow an instrument, please reach out to Mr. Reo (Band) or Mr. Zarbetski (Orchestra) to confirm an instrument is available by Sept 1st 2026. You will not to purchase the lesson book as we do not lend out books for the school year. The name of the Band lesson book is "Sound Innovations for Concert Band - Book 1" and the Orchestra book is "Sound Innovations for Orchestra - Book 1". Please be sure to purchase the correct book for your child's specific instrument. 

If you plan to purchase an instrument used
or from a big box store like Amazon/Walmart:

 We do not recommend purchasing an instrument from Amazon or other big box stores as these instruments are subpar and will break easily. Often times, the cost of the repair is more than the instrument is worth. If you are in the market for an instrument on the cheaper side, please speak with your music teacher first for a few steps of guidance on the instrumental purchase hunt!  Most bargain brand instruments are not fixable or hard to play which can make learning an instrument a challenge.
