Originally from the tiny town of Cook, NE, I completed my undergraduate degrees in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering at the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2020. This is where I was first exposed to the world of mathematics research, and I was instantly hooked.
After graduating, I moved to Clemson to pursue my PhD in Mathematical Sciences, which I received in August 2024 under the advisement of Dr. Jim Coykendall. My areas of specialty lie Commutative Algebra and Algebraic Number Theory; specifically, most of my research lies in factorization theory applied to orders in algebraic number fields.
Now, I am a Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Union College in Schenectady, NY. I have very much enjoyed getting to know the faculty and students at Union and sharing with them my teaching skills and research interests.
