My research focuses on the connections between economic activity, natural resources and the environment. I'm also interested in the economic characteristics and consequences of tourism and economic accounting, with a particular interest at questions at regional or city scale.

I have experience of leading research projects funded by organisations including ESRC, UK Energy Research Centre, Scottish Government and other public, private and third sector organisations.
