Our Budget

Our programs, which drive our mission, can only exist through the funds we raise and our volunteers’ time.  Fiscally, we break our program into three arms: Enrichment, Community and Administrative.  Enrichment events engage in united efforts to secure the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social well being of our youth. Community outreach and achievement recognition foster the health and welfare of the school community, develop relationships with the Board of Education and advocate for children's issues.  Administrative activities comprise of operation fees, dues, insurance and running monthly meetings. No officer is compensated, owns interest in or makes money off our programs.

Grant D. Morse PTA is fully funded by public support and fundraising efforts. This PTA spends 20% of its time supporting the following  primary fundraisers, which also serve to foster our mission:

Shop Local Gift Card Fundraiser supports the greater local community. The PTA establishes relationships with the local business community,  facilitates the purchase of gift cards to participating  businesses and the businesses donate a portion of the proceeds back to the PTA.

Brick Paver Fundraiser fosters the beautification of our school by allowing patrons to purchase an engraved brick which the school will use to build a new brick patio adjacent to our playground.

School and Holiday Stores offer our students an introduction to the exchange of money for goods while building independent thinking and math confidence.

Free Money comprises of smaller activities such as bake sales, Box Tops for Education and participation in local business give back programs, such as Price Chopper Tools for Schools, Clynk, and Hannaford Helps Schools.
