Step 1 - Cutting the hood(s)

Fold the hand towel in half. Place a pin on both edges at the center. Using a straightedge draw a line with a sharpie or other marker (e.g., crayon).

Sew a zigzag down each side of the center line.
Back stitch at the beginning and end.

Cut down the centerline.
Half of the hand towel will become 1 hood.

Remove the tag. It will just tear off.
Snip the loop off with scissors as close as you can to the edge. It's not needed in the hood as there's a loop on the bath towel.
