Daniel Fabelo is an award-winning, Latino filmmaker born and raised in Austin, Texas. For a time, he was a writer/director at online-powerhouse Rooster Teeth Productions where he developed and directed multiple web-series, the sci-fi feature Lazer Team 2 (now streaming on Tubi) and episodes of television including Immersion: Shark Week for Warner Bros. Discovery. His most recent, award-winning short film, “El Gato Feo”, premiered at the Dallas International Film Festival and has gone on to play over a dozen festivals around the world including New York Latino Film Festival and the Evolution Mallorca International Film Festival in Mallorca, Spain. In 2024, he attended the New Orleans Film Society’s Southern Producers Lab with the short film, “Juana Pelos,” which he produced and will premiere later this year.
