Granada is well-connected by air, rail, and road. Here's how to reach the city:
By Air
Granada Airport (Federico García Lorca Airport): Located 15 km west of the city, this airport offers domestic and a few international flights. A bus or taxi can take you to the city center in about 30 minutes.
Málaga Airport (Costa del Sol Airport): A larger international airport, about 125 km from Granada. From Málaga, you can:
Take a direct bus (approximately 1.5-2 hours).
Use the train to Granada (after taking the metro from the airport to Málaga).
By Train
Within Spain: Granada is connected to major Spanish cities like Madrid, Barcelona, and Seville via RENFE trains. High-speed trains (AVE) from Madrid take about 3.5 hours.
International Trains: There are no direct international trains to Granada. Travelers coming from abroad can connect via Madrid or Málaga.
