Gramya Autonomous Cooperative is the community livelihood promotion arm and a social enterprise of the Gramya Shikshan Prayavaran Sanstha based in Chamoli District of Uttarakhand. We provide our services in following sectors:

1. Training, capacity development, research and technical assistance on various activities such as tree plantation, nursery construction, pasture development, afforestation etc. for environmental protection in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand state.

2. Training, capacity development, research and technical assistance in the area of watershed.

3. The cooperative will work together with the villagers for the development of livelihood based on the local environment and natural resources through its activities.

4. The cooperative will conduct training, research, research and trade on businesses such as eco-tourism, nature guide tour, natural farming, organic farming, animal husbandry, horticulture, apiculture, floriculture and dairy.

5. Cooperative will market local products in collaboration with local rural farmers and their groups.

6. The cooperative will operate and promote cottage industries based on forest and local resources.
