The first edition of GRAMS was held in Trinity College Dublin on 25-26 May 2026, in the context of a postdoctoral research project funded by Taighde Éireann - Research Ireland. The plenary speakers were Sam Wolfe (University of Oxford), who shared research on change and stability in the history of French and Occitan, and Michelle Sheehan (Newcastle University), with work on the morphosyntax of Chagossian Creole.
