When you use indirect questions, you MUSTN'T change the word order or add auxiliary verbs: these are not questions anymore, even if you use question words to introduce them.
The correct word order in indirect questions is
wh- word + subject + verb
Compare:
What do you think about this? (direct question)
I don't know what you think about this. (indirect question)
Where does she live? (direct question)
I can't remember where she lives. (indirect question)
She wants to know what we are going to do later.
You need to think about what you want to do.
I don't know when I will be back.
She explained how paintings are restored.
