Integrating the Computer Science and Digital Fluency Learning Standards into Grades 4-6 Classroom Instruction

Welcome to the "Integrating the Computer Science and Digital Fluency Learning Standards into Grades 4-6 Classroom Instruction" Take and Learn! 

This module was developed by a graduate intern from SUNY Potsdam, Fayth Gessner, through the St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES program. Special thanks to Rachel Atkins and Tony Betrus for their guidance and oversight on the creation of this module.

This take and learn was developed to assist grades 4-6 educators in realistically preparing themselves with the tools needed to help them integrate the New York State Computer Science and Digital Fluency Learning Standards into their own classroom instruction. 

This module will reference several materials meant to assist in overall integration, in addition to diving into grade-band-specific components and standards.

New York State is looking to fully implement the Computer Science and Digital Fluency Learning Standards by the 2024-2025 school year.
