Term Focus: Term 2

This term, our focus will be on photosynthesis, respiratory system, excretion in humans, and human impact on the environment. We will unravel the secrets of respiration, explore the mechanisms of plants and humans on the environment, and delve into the fascinating world of evolutionary biology.

Course Objectives: 

1. Explain the structures, functions, and interrelationships of biological systems such as the respiratory system, photosynthesis, and excretory system in humans. 

2. Investigate the physiological processes involved in respiration, photosynthesis, and excretion, including gas exchange, energy transformation, and waste removal. 

3. Evaluate the impact of human activities on the environment, including pollution, resource utilization, and ecosystem disruption, and analyze the consequences on biodiversity and climate. 

4. Apply scientific principles and concepts to explain how living organisms respond to environmental changes, maintain homeostasis, and adapt to external factors. 

5. Explore sustainable practices and solutions to mitigate human impact on the environment, promote conservation efforts, and support global sustainability goals.
