1 NAMIBIA SENIOR SECONDARY CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION TIMETABLE, OCTOBER/NOVEMBER About this timetable This timetable contains the examination sessions for the Higher Level and the Ordinary Level syllabuses, with the borrowed HIGCSE and IGCSE syllabuses included. The Higher level (and HIGCSE) syllabuses are printed in blue. EDITION DATED FEBRUARY 2017 Guidelines 4 Art & Design Papers Copies of HIGHER Art & Design 8345 Paper 1 is to be given to the candidates on receipt - four school weeks before the time i.e. 14 July and ORDINARY Art & Design 4125 Papers 1-3 are to be given to the candidates on receipt - six school weeks before the time i.e. 30 June. 2 About the sessions A timetable with detailed starting and ending times of papers will be provided to candidates with their Admission Permits. 3 Time Allowance for Question Papers Any time specially allocated for candidates to read through question papers and to study maps, etc., is already included in the total time. You must not allow any additional time. 5 Practical Tests in Sciences All Practical papers must be taken at the times set in the timetable. If there are more candidates than there is space for in one session, the invigilator may hold the test in two or more sessions, as long as satisfactory arrangements are made to ensure the integrity of the examination. Arrangements must be made to ensure there is no contact between candidates who have taken the test in the first session and those who are scheduled to take it in the second or later sessions, either at the Centre or at any other Centre.
