Spring 2020

Bright Half Life

This was my first show at Sam Houston State University. I was Assistant Stage Manager under Alex Frankovich. In this position I learned many things through observance such as how to handle and organize separate crews, schedule meetings and rehearsal spaces, as well as take line notes and send them to actors.

Pride and Prejudice

I worked deck crew at Sam Houston State University. I assisted in the building and painting of the set as well us fun the fly system during the production.

Little Shop of Horrors

In this show I was both Lighting Designer and Stage Manager. This was my first musical to Stage Manage and I learned how to manage 40+ actors in blocking, choreography, and vocal rehearsals. This show ended up being nominated for 12/15 Dallas Summer Musical's High School Musical Awards including Best Musical, Best Lighting Design, and Best Technical Execution.

Devil Of the Second Stairs


Devil of the Second Stairs was a One Act competitive productions that I was the LED Programmer and Designer on. I learned how to adjust lighting in different spaces quickly and how collaborating well with cast and crew members can make or break a show.


2018 Spring

For All Those People


For All Those People was a self written show our main stage class. We compiled different poems, songs, monologues, and dances into a show about emotion. As lighting designer, I learned how to create effects and how light moves. I also learned a lot about video editing and created 2 of the video projections in the show.

2017 Fall

Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella

Cinderella was the first high school production I ever worked on. I was in charge of hair and costuming but during the show I worked with the deck crew. I learned how each and every job has different technicians who have very important responsibilities and that even if one piece was missing, the show wouldn't be the same.


2016-2017

Ubu Roi


Ubu Roi was the first One Act advancing competitive show I worked on, as well as the first show I worked sound for. I learned how to mix music and sound effects on audacity as well as hearing levels while rapidly adjusting to different spaces.


2017 Spring

East Of Broadway


East of Broadway is a Musical Revue show that WEHS produced in our Black Box. Along with learning more about black box lighting and sight lines, as the light designer I had to create different places with lighting and color for each song.

2018 Spring

Big Man on Campus

Big Man on Campus is an annual Male Beauty pageant that our theatre program uses as a fundraiser. I have been able to design lighting for two of these shows. While they can be difficult because of the very fast pace in our limited rehearsals, that have challenged me and grow as a designer.

2017 Spring & Fall

The Good Woman of Setzuan

The Good Woman of Setzuan is the main stage production that I was stage manger for. This became both a full length fall production as well as a 40 minute cut for UIL One Act Play competition. I was awarded All Star technician and All Star Crew at the District competition. I grew in leadership and organizational skills through this process.

I Don't Want to Talk About It was a WEHS Black Box production. This is the first show I programmed and ran the lighting cues for. As well as learning how to cue a show, I also learned the importance of focusing lights on a thrust stage.


2017 Spring

No Exit


No Exit was a Senior Direct show that was produced. Two senior directors, Dalton Henderson and John Tompkins selected a show, cast, and crew and put a show together in less than 10 hours of rehearsal. This show taught me the importance of communication, especially in a time crunch, and how crucial it is for a show to be successful.

2018 Spring

The Diviners



The Diviners was a show produced by Wylie ISD's Summer on Stage Program. Directed by Lisa Hale. the major challenged in this show is we have 4 days of rehearsals to not only create a show, but also turn a band orchestra room into a thrust stage. I had to quickly learn about new fixtures, lighting with trees, and how important adapters can be in a space.

Summer 2018

Midsummer's Night Dream


Midsummer Night's Dream was another of Wylie ISD's Summer on Stage Program. Two directors, Tanner Smithson and Andrea Farnham, create two entirely different shows with the same script. I worked fog for one show and lighting for the other and learned how to communicate with different directors, as well as cast and crew members I was not familiar with.
