CURRENT PROJECTS
In the offbeat world of Finnish hobby horsing, two very different competitors train and compete for national championship placement. While grappling with mental health, bullying, identity, and rising social media fame, their journeys reveal the pressures of growing up under the weight of societal norms. The film delves into how judgment and perception shape our experiences, highlighting the absurdity of societal norms. It examines what it means to grow older and what we can learn from our younger selves. Sticks and Stones offers an insightful exploration of how people on the margins find joy, belonging, and community.
Roots is a 5 minute interview-based film that explores where it is we go when we dream.
