Hi all! I’m Gracie Markus, a content creator born and raised here in Northern Kentucky! Growing up, I was always involved in some kind of artistic endeavor. From singing in choir my 5th grade year all throughout high school to being active in my theatrical department, the common denominator in my life has always been my knack for creative expression. In college I studied electronic media & broadcasting where I explored various interests including producing, directing, social media management, marketing, and the music industry. Post traversing all over the entertainment realm, I have realized I want to blend my passions into my career. I aim to find a job - or maybe a few - that allows me to cross over production with social media, event planning, and even the music industry. Finding the right balance between work and play is what I intend to do within the creative world!
IKIGAI stems from a concept in Japan that states there is something worth living for, for everyone. This something is able to establish a sense of value in life. IKIGAI can be found at the center of what one is good at, what one loves, what the world needs, and what one can be paid for. It is here where an individual may find both a passion and mission. As of right now, I think my IKIGAI concerns content creation with a focus on commercial/documentary implications. Through the skills that I possess, I think that I could find a lot of value in assisting brands/companies/individuals with content creation. Whether it be a short social media video on who they are or a longer documentary about a charitable cause, I find joy in helping people wanting to showcase who/what they are through digital means.
