Extreme weather has become more frequent, making farming more difficult in Hong Kong.
I learnt one thing from farming: mother nature is so generous. You do 10% of the work (planting a seed, weeding, watering) and nature does 90% (sunshine, rains, air, winds, birds, bees...). With such a small effect one pays, you can have a fruitful harvest (20 sweetcorns!!!).

My grandma only spoke Hakka. Whenever I visited her during Chinese New Year, I couldn't communicate with her because I could barely speak Hakka at that time.
Love goes beyond language, she expressed her love by giving me lots of candies and red pocket money. She passed away in 2024, so now Hakka has become the language of grandma, carrying the memories of love.
