In the late 1970s, Grace Bagley was working at a local quilt shop, Mormon Handicraft, where she saw for herself the growing needs of the quilting industry. During a conversation with her son, Jim, she voiced her thoughts and ideas about these needs.
Jim held on to her innovative ideas, and used his skills and workmanship to manufacture the first of thousands of frames that quilters around the world have come to know as Grace frames.
Grace's bright ideas and the products that they inspired continue to empower people everywhere to connect with their passions, unleash their creativity, and enrich their lives and the lives of others.
Today, you can find Grace's smiling face on educational products created by education team at The Grace Company. You will find her delightful encouragement and suggestions sprinkled throughout our digital and physical educational products.
Our instructions are written to engage and encourage you in your quilting journey. We hope that when you quilt with Grace's educational products, you feel like a favorite friend is guiding you through your journey.
