Our Program
Throughout our year, we will build vocal technique, learn various styles of worship music, and get to know each other! Above all, my main goal as director is to encourage, inspire, and teach your children to express their love for the Lord through music.
PRAYER Every rehearsal will begin with a prayer to ask for the Lord’s blessing and favor as we prepare to worship in his name.
WARMUP Our vocal warmups will focus on building technique including, breath control, producing proper tone, and singing in two or more parts.
REPERTOIRE The bulk of our rehearsal time will be spent working on our musical or various other pieces to be presented during worship services.

My name is Monica Sobers, and I am so grateful that the Lord has called me to lead this group!
I was blessed with a gift and passion for music at an early age, having sung in church choirs as a child, and it’s been an integral part of my life ever since. My musical background includes playing piano, singing in choirs throughout middle and high school, as well as college, and studying music in college.
I am currently the music teacher at Montclair Elementary, and I am so thrilled to be able to bring my love for teaching music to children to Grace! Throughout our year, we will build vocal technique, learn various styles of worship music, and even play instruments! Above all, my main goal as director is to encourage, inspire, and teach your children to express their love for the Lord through music.
