I installed latest version of Grabcad desktop app for grabcad workbench. I double click on shortcut or right click and open/open with administrator but program doesn't open and there is no task in task manager. I'm using windows 10 education and i have .net framework version 4.8. I tried to turn off windows defender but it didn't fix.

GrabCAD Workbench laid the foundations of what GrabCAD is today and on June 1st, 2023 at 12PM GMT, GrabCAD Workbench services will be discontinued and all files and data stored in GrabCAD Workbench will be deleted. The GrabCAD Workbench web and desktop apps will no longer function. From now until then, all GrabCAD Workbench features and connectivity will continue to function as normal, although new company creation has been restricted.

As you may have seen over the past ten years, we have refined our strategy focusing our software development to create products that improve additive manufacturing project workflows for industrial manufacturing applications. First in 2016 when we launched GrabAD Print to simplify additive manufacturing programming and execution.
Then in 2020 we launched GrabCAD Shop to streamline additive manufacturing shop workflows. Finally in 2021 we launched the GrabCAD AM Platform which combines our suite of GrabCAD additive manufacturing solutions with our set of GrabCAD SDKs and Software Partners.

The desktop client is the link between your GrabCAD workbench (in the cloud) and your computer (in your office). To set it up, you just download and install it, and then map a Workbench project to a local folder on your hard drive. It monitors differences between the local copy of the file and the cloud copy using Git (Wiki reference) technology which was developed for Software version control. This technology looks at file at a bit level and creates snapshots of the data which can be compared to see where differences have occurred. What this means, is that if someone that you are collaborating with, edits your files, the GrabCAD desktop client will detect that your local copy is no longer the latest, and it will give you the option of keeping your version, or getting the latest one from Workbench. The conflict resolution dialog is slick and the feedback is clear and concise. The application also provides quick links to your local folder.
The version control extends through to the Workbench cloud app, where a version history is kept, and features exist that allow you to compare differences between versions. Of particular note, is the cool little version compare slider, which lets you visualise the changes using a clever colorization key based on whether material has been added or removed. 152ee80cbc
