Links you submit. When you paste or share a link, it is sent to our server so the video can be fetched and converted. The video is deleted from the server right after it is sent to your phone. We do not keep the links or the videos.
Anonymous device ID (only if you buy "Remove ads"). The app creates a random ID that is not linked to your name or account. If you buy, the server stores this ID together with your license code so your purchase can be recognised again.
Payment information. Payments are handled by PayPal (or by Google Play / the App Store). We never see your card or PayPal login. We store only the order ID and transaction ID that PayPal gives us, to confirm your purchase and help you if you lose your code.
Advertising. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID and similar data to show and measure ads. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, ads are shown only after you give consent in a consent form, and you can change your choice later in the app. See Google's policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
Technical logs. Our server may briefly record technical data such as your IP address to protect against abuse (for example rate limiting).
We do not require an account, we do not sell your data, and we do not read your photos or files. The app asks for permission to save videos to your photo library only so it can save what you download.
Purchase records are stored on our server for as long as the license is valid. We share data only with the services above (PayPal, Google AdMob, and RevenueCat if you buy through the app store) and where the law requires.
If you are in the EEA/UK you can ask us to access, correct or delete the data we hold about you (for example your license record) by emailing the address above.
Grabbit is not meant for children under 13.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this page with a new date.
