The 1979 Schwinn World Sport bike was designed as a road bike, it was a high end consumors product at its time. This was due to the excellent part quality and riding experience. The design of the bike contains a road bike head tube angle keeping Schwinn's consistint demand with high quality bikes. The frame began as a carbon steel frame but later moved on to full carbon. The seat was set up diffrently and alot smoother, though not comfortable for long rides because of its lack of breathability. With the original colors of blue/black and red/gold it turned heads everywhere the riders decided to explore.
This weeks bike is a 1979 Vintage Schwinn World Sport road bike! Bike is fully fuctional and in mint condition with all original parts. The bike has been serviced including repacked crank and wheel bearings . The frame is steel, 10 speed drive train, tire size is 27 inches, suites riders 64 to 74 inches (5 ft. 3 to 6 ft. 1), and the weight limit is 260 lbs.
